We all want to feel loved, but do we need love?
Sometimes it can be difficult to experience love in our lives. There are many things that can get in the way of feeling love—fear, insecurity, doubt, and past experiences. But no matter what challenges we face, we should never give up on our ability to feel love and receive love from others.
Below are three reasons why:
Love provides protection. We were not meant to live alone. We were meant to live in groups because that is where support and safety exist.
Love reduces emotional and physical pain. The ability to share your pain and find comfort in another is its own pain reliever.
Love brings joy and happiness. The act of caring for another who cares for you brings an emotional satisfaction that is hard to describe with words.
So yes, all need to feel love, both for our own well-being and happiness as well as the well-being of those around us.
